25th Annual General Meeting

The Alumni held its 25th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday, 26 April 2008 at 1.30 pm at Serangoon Secondary School, 11 Upper Serangoon View, Singapore, 534237.

Eleven members and School Representative, Mrs Joan Tan, attended the AGM. Lunch was hosted by Ms Joyce Tham, the out-going President of the Alumni.

In her speech, Ms Tham spoke about membership in the Alumni. She said it was important that the Alumni continues to focus on increasing membership. However, this was not the only activity of the Alumni in the past year. She then gave a rundown of its activities during the past year.

Later, at the election of office-bearers, Ms Joyce Tham and Mr David Quek were re-elected President and Vice-President, for another year respectively. Elected Hon Secretary was Mr Liew Cheng Song, whilst Mr Sylvester Heng was elected Hon Treasurer. Two new members, Ms Gillian Tay and Mr Roland Koh were also elected to the Management Committee.
