SA AWARDS

The SA Award is a first of its kind to be given out by the Alumni to Alumnus who have made valuable contributions to the Alumni and School.

It was implemented in 2009.

The first recipients of the Award are:

Mr Bobby Lim Chye Huat

Mr Bobby Lim, a staunch supporter of the Alumni, is a well-known industrialist. Currently, a managing director of a locally- listed firm, Tai Sin Ltd. Over the years, he was an ardent sponsor of the ?Careers Symposium? organized by the Alumni and School. He also made a significant donation to SSS Scholarship Fund.

Mr David Tong is a strong supporter of the Alumni. A semi-retired public accountant for a a number of years, he was once Chairman of the School Advissory Committee. He also made a significant donation to the SSS Scholarship Fund.

Mr Ngiam Tong Yuen is the younger brother of one of our Illustrious Alumni, Mr Ngiam Tong Dow. A retired chemical engineer, he is a well-known volunteer and philantrophist with the NVPA. Mr Ngiam has also made a notable donation to the SSS Scholarship Fund.

Mr Richard Gomez is a respected son of Serangoon. A well-known athlete during his school days, he was a Personnel Director of SIA until his retirement in 200. A supporter of the Alumni, he was responsible for starting the N I Low and M N Campos Scholarships for the Sec 2 & 3 students of the School.
