A Prefects’ Investiture

The Hon Secretary, Mr Liew Cheng Song was the guest-of-honour at the Prefects’ Investiture on 11 April 2008 at the School. This ceremony held annually is to honour prefects appointed by the School. In his speech to the prefects, teachers and guests, Mr Liew said that they have been chosen by their teachers, who were able to identify the leadership in them. They teachers have faith in the prefects – that they are able to handle different situations and experiences in the School that need their attention.

Mr Liew was confident that the school and teachers will give the prefects - the young leaders, the necessary support, and lend a helping hand, when needed.

He congratulated the Head Prefect, Ms Darsheene Devadass, and her team of prefects on their appointments.
