A historic year ? 2010
This year 2010 has been a historic and eventful year for SSS. This is the year we launched a 1st ever scholarship fund for graduating students to further their study in a Junior College or Polytechnic. I would like to thank all the SAC members & the Alumni for making this scholarship a reality. We may be a neighbourhood school, but we can still play a part to make a difference in the lives of some of our students. So far, we have collected a sum of >$44,000 from over 50 donors. This sum may not be much ? but this is a good start. Starting this scheme was not easy ? but we did it. I am sure as the years roll on ? we can achieve something bigger. Allow me to record our sincere thanks to all our donors.

Hall of Achievers- SSS Idol
This year, we also witness the inauguration of the Wall of Achievers. I am pleased to say that this school did produced some outstanding students who had achieved much and excelled in their career. They are our iconic role models to inspire our younger generation of students. Our first batch of inductees included:

1. Mr Eddie Barker ? former Minister of Law
2. Mr Ngiam Tong Dow ? former Permanent Secretary
3. Mr Tee Tua Ba ? former Police Commissioner
4. Dr Wong Poh Poh ? Nobel Peace laureate & former university lecturer.
