The purpose of introducing the E-News is to save cost of printing and distributing a newsletter. Another reason is to have all members be familiar with IT and the ?IT? way of doing things.

Doing away with a newsletter , all news/events/activities reported will be gathered and posted on the website. Those of a significant nature will be compiled and posted every three months or so, and uploaded to the website as E-News.

Should there be one single event or one dominant feature, it will be reported as ?Latest News? and available online immediately.

The news information will, however, still be compiled as E-News every three months as mentioned.

Familiarising
The Alumni?s intention to get not only members, but all those who are keen on knowing more of the Alumni and what it is doing, is to have them access and browse its website. Eventually, we expect to have all communication between the Alumni and members and others through the website. For those without e-mails, we will try to communicate using the handphone.

But, we hope all members and others keen on the Alumni?s website to be able to have access to it, even by handphone. With Ipad and Iphone, nothing is impossible. We only have to make the facilities available on our website.
